Always choose to be true to yourself, even at the risk of incurring ridicule from others, rather than being fake and incurring the pain and confusion of trying to be someone you’re not. When you are comfortable in your skin, not everyone in this world will like you, and that’s okay. Remember, you could be the ripest, juiciest apple in the world, and there’s going to be someone out there who hates apples. It is what is it is, don’t worry about what others think so much.

101 चन्दनं शीतलं लोके चंदनादपि चंद्रमा: | चन्द्रचन्दनयोर्मध्ये शीतला साधुसंगत: || sandalwood is pleasant (cool), moon (or moon light) is more pleasant than sandal. (but) company of a good person (sAdhu) is pleasant then both moon and sandal.
